The exhibitions will start at 2pm until 8pm on 5^th October 2012 with participations by

BORNEO CONSERVATION TRUST (BCT) – adopted as our Co-Organiser

- adoption of conservation project

SABAH WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT (SWD)

- up-close with wildlife animal

- wildlife department functions and programs

ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION CENTRE (EAC)

-promotion of environmentally friendly culture

                               

SPCA, KK

-fund raising and membership drive programs

THE GREEN CONNECTION

-campaign against SHARK FINNING

-aqua-animal campaign and awareness

BORNEAN SUN BEAR CONSERVATION CENTRE

-awareness and fund-raising campaign

Official launching will be held at 2.30pm with special invitations extended to the students of schools in and around Kota Kinabalu.

CONCERT: 6.30 P.M. Until 11.00 P.M.

-opening acts by sjk chung hwa kk

-performance by appy

-4ag grunge band from kk

-popular local kadazan artist clarice john matta

-the ariez band "grunge band

-animal dance theme by the bodycare events

-choral speaking presentation by students of srk st. francis convent school

-percussion band "rhyth of borneo"

-local sabah artist janrywine

-special appearance by "one nation emcee"

Twestival international is offering US$1000 to the city whose logo has the most votes (“like”s) on Facebook. Winning this money would be a huge help for both our event and this year's recipient, The Sabah Society for the Blind.

Okay, now that you've voted, here's some more information about the fabulous new logo! Created by team member Don Arthur Sario, this year's design shows the world what's special about KK and Sabah. Plus, it's pretty cute!

You'll notice that the logo has Mount Kinabalu, a fixture of Sabah's incredible scenery, plus branches and trees to represent the state's famous forests. And of course, a smiling orangutan to remind everyone about Sabah's animal diversity! The logo also has a few chattering birds to represent Twestival's mission: Meet, Tweet, Give.
