This Frenchman is currently a hot property! His crafty collaborations with the world's music magnates made him a force to be reckoned with. Commanding more than USD200K per gig, which he pretty much does as a 'one man show' (He prefers jetting around the world without entourages) and estimated net worth at USD25mil, that's a sick amount of money!
Off all his records, my personal fave is this:
Well, Monsieur Guetta, don't ever stop making records :)
P/s: I trawled Youtube, and I found this surprisingly great cover of the above song by a band (Moorehouse) from New Zealand!
Niiiiiiceeee!

Leighton Meester as a singing starlet?
Well, uh, I happened to troll Youtube today and I saw this.
Wait a minute, Leighton sings?? Save from the delicious and great Robin Thicke, all I could see is Leighton's gyrating and writhing. Well, that certainly paves the way to records.
My take? This song probably tanks (like that of Kim Kardashian's) without Robin Thicke on it.
Meanwhile, Leighton, thank you. I enjoyed your feline writhing on any surfaces, even for a straight gal like me.
:P

The Killers: Somebody Told Me
It's 2011 but I'm still listening to The Killers' Somebody Told Me.. :)
By the by, someone has to tell Ms. Elizabeth Hurley that she has a boyfriend, who looked like a girlfriend!
Teeee heeee...

Yuna - Nirvana's Come As You Are Cover
I have huge respect for Yuna. She's among the few Malaysian singer-songwriters that commands my respect. Huge, incredible talents with international appeals. I think, her electro-funk pop-music combined with her smooth, honeyed and husky vocal is her USP (unique selling point).
Incredible, right? From guitar-ripping to this, she managed to bring a dose of originality of her own and poured them to this amazing cover. I think, Cobain would have given his seal of approval, if he's still alive.
To Yuna, I'm mightily proud of you girl. You've come a long way from home.

Adieu, Ms. Winehouse
Utter shock!
At a young age of 27, one of the most talented and gifted singer of her generation was found dead in her North London flat, suspected of lethal coctail of drug overdose and alcohol binge. Her turbulent life was widely followed by the vulture-hungry medias and gleefully aired to her anti-fans and adoring fans alike. To me, she might had her own personal demons to battle with but she's extremely one talented singer. Her raspy and soulful voice was her USP. Following her death, the sales of her records have been soaring up and mourners left flowers and other tributes outside her London flat.
Amy Winehouse, died at 27, like the other '27 Club' of musicians who died at that age (Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Janis Choplin & Rolling Stone's Brian Jones) left a legacy of her own - tragic death, too soon, too talented and too young to die. May her soul rest in peace..

Oh Adele, my talented Adele!
I simply love this British songstress! Her musics are so so so good!
One of my favorite from her, is Hometown Glory. I will play this song, everytime I'm thinkin' of my other hometown, Ranau.
"Hometown Glory"
I've been walking in the same way as I did
Missing out the cracks in the pavement
And tutting my heel and strutting my feet
"Is there anything I can do for you dear? Is there anyone I can call?"
"No and thank you, please Madam. I ain't lost, just wandering"
Round my hometown
Memories are fresh
Round my hometown
Ooh the people I've met
Are the wonders of my world
Are the wonders of my world
Are the wonders of this world
Are the wonders of my world
I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque
I love to see everybody in short skirts, shorts and shades
I like it in the city when two worlds collide
You get the people and the government
Everybody taking different sides
Shows that we ain't gonna stand shit
Shows that we are united
Shows that we ain't gonna take it
Shows that we ain't gonna stand shit
Shows that we are united
Round my hometown
Memories are fresh
Round my hometown
Ooh the people I've met
Are the wonders of my world
Are the wonders of my world
